An Opportunity to Take Part in a STADIA Mental Health Project

Do you have experience of Child and Adolescents Mental Health Services (CAMHS), either as a young person or adult carer?

Colleen Ewart, who is working as a ‘parent expert’ on a mental health project called STADIA, which stands for STAandardised DIagnostic Assessment for children and adolescents with emotional difficulties.

The project is investigating the use of an online survey (a standard diagnostic assessment) to find out if it improves the detection and treatment of emotional disorders in young people within CAMHS.

She is recruiting for two advisory panels, one for young people and one for parents/carer’s who can help to plan her study. You can be involved as little or as much as you want. It will be mainly looking at information and giving feedback about the wording, design, amount of questions etc. Some of the work can be done by email. She will try to be as flexible as possible for meeting times and venues.

If you are interested and would like further information please get in touch with her via email (stadia@nottingham.ac.uk).
