NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group want to ensure that everyone over the age of 18 who experiences low mood, anxiousness or stress is able to access appropriate, effective support should they need it, without having to go to their GP first. They are therefore looking for patients and the public to share their thoughts and experiences of accessing NHS psychological therapies, also known as talking therapies or IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapy) services, in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. This will help them to understand how to increase awareness of these free NHS services and any issues that people may experience in accessing them.
We are asking patients, members of the public, carers to take part in a quick and easy survey. The survey will take no more than 10 minutes of your time. You can access a copy of the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/G2V79HV. The survey will run from Tuesday 24 November 2020 and will close at midnight on the 8 December 2020.
If for whatever reason, you cannot complete this survey or would like to take part in a phone interview instead, kindly contact Katie Swinburn at Katie.firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a mutually convenient time and date to take part.
We will also be arranging for some virtual focus groups to take place in the very near future. If this is something that you would be interested in participating in then please contact Katie Swinburn on the above email address who will register your interest and keep you up to date.
