Ask Us provide a free, confidential Information, Advice and Support Service, to give impartial advice, information and support across education, health and social care issues to parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) living in the area.

Are you eligible for the short break scheme?
Between now and 31 Aug 2020, families with a child or young person with a disability, who are eligible for a Short Break, can use their allocation to buy resources and equipment to use at home, up to the value of £150.
Footballer Marcus Rashford has led a media campaign to enable low income familes to continue to receive Free School Meal vouchers throughout the summer holidays. He drew on personal experience of growing up in poverty, leading to the Government making a u-turn on the issue.
